InSupport in the 6th Annual Report on Violence Against Women

The 6th Annual Report on Violence Against Women has been published by the General Secretariat for Equality and Human Rights (GSEGHR), which serves as an essential tool for the systematic recording, monitoring, and assessment of the phenomenon of violence against women in our country.

This year’s publication of the Report took place on March 8, International Women’s Day, rather than November 25, which has been established as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. This shift is linked to the decision to base the statistical analysis on a full calendar year, so that the data is more accurate, more consistent, and effectively comparable. For this reason, the Network of Structures’ data covers the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025, while the data from the General Secretariat for Gender Equality’s Gender Equality Observatory covers the years 2024 and 2025. Particular emphasis is placed on 2025, with the aim of more clearly capturing the most recent trends and current dimensions of gender-based and domestic violence in the country.

The InSupport project is acknowledged in the Report as a significant initiative and action addressing sexual violence against women within the institutional framework of European and international cooperation.
